Lauren Daisley has written for CBS Sunday Morning, Newsday, Salon, American Baby, Parents, and The Morning News--where she is a Contributing Writer. Her stories and essays have been mentioned in publications ranging from the Guardian UK to Gawker. Lauren was one of the original writer/producers on the national, Public Radio International show, Fair Game. National media appearances include CBS Sunday Morning, MSNBC's NewsNation, Q on the CBC, Sirius XM Stars Too (formerly Maxim Radio), and Ireland's Newstalk Radio.
During its long run with host David Brancaccio, she was the announcer for the nationally-distributed NOW on PBS. She has also voiced narration for clients including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Columbia/Legacy, Simon & Schuster Audio, and Partners in Health. Lauren has hosted on Sirius Satellite Radio, WQXR, and WNYC Radio. Her interviews include Maya Angelou, Seth Godin, and Kathie Lee Gifford. She is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and the recipient of the School's Artist and Scholar Award.
Outside work, Lauren is a competent gardener, a passable climber, and a gifted unicyclist. She lives in New York with her husband, children, and German shepherd.
